Zoo Med Hermit Crab Salt Water Conditioner (Part 2)

Aquarium salt is one of the products that seems to stir up both brand loyalty and lots of debate among hermit crab hobbyists, however this is one that is pretty much universally disliked. When the specific gravity (saltiness) of the water is tested using the recommended amounts of this salt water conditioner, it is found lacking (a lot). If you use enough of this product to make the water sufficiently salty, the water turns yellow (ick), and it makes the per gallon cost ridiculously high. While it's tempting to use products that are made specifically with hermit crabs in mind, this one is a stinker.

I received a sample sized version of this product once, but I will never buy it.
